Abstract:

One study estimates that 90% of ERP implementations fail to meet their objectives. One of the key objectives for management is for their ERP project to be secure and compliant. In this webinar we will present the common pitfalls that undermine this objective and how to overcome them. We will discuss the good, the bad and the ugly of ERP implementations.

Who is Attending

Donna Curtis

Donna is the ERP Cloud Practice Manager with ERP Risk Advisors. She has specialized in ERP Cloud since 2016, focusing in the areas of security design, audit policies, and Risk Cloud while working with major consulting firms over the last 15 years.

She is a frequent speaker at conferences and webinars on the functionality of Oracle and helps with patch impact analysis each quarter. She has outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, is confident and very articulate. Donna and her husband, Brian, reside in Colorado Springs. They enjoy spending time with family, travelling, and are avid cruisers.

Donna began her consulting career in 1997, supporting Oracle EBS in implementations and upgrades (versions 10.6 through 12.1). She leveraged her EBS knowledge and transferred into the Oracle Advanced Controls world. She has over thirty (30+) EBS, GRC, and Cloud related implementations to her credit. Donna is currently the ERP Cloud Practice Manager, leveraging her extensive experience in ERP Cloud security design. She has immense custom role design experience in both Cloud Financials and HCM security design.

Jeff Hare

Jeff’s extensive background includes public accounting (including Big 4 experience), industry, and Oracle Financials experience. Jeff has been working in the Oracle Applications space since 1998 with implementation, upgrade, and support experience. His focus on the development of internal controls and security best practices for companies running ERP Applications. Jeff is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

Jeffrey has worked in various countries including Austria, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Mexico, Panama, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, and United Arab Emirates.  He is a graduate of Arizona State University and lives in northern Colorado with his wife and three daughters.

Specialties: Risk advisory services for organizations using ERP Applications. Internal controls and security design and implementation services. GRC-related software selection and implementation services.

Joshua Burton

Joshua Burton is a Senior Risk Analyst with ERP Risk Advisors. Joshua specializes in Oracle’s ERP Cloud, most specifically role design and functional administration of modules. He has multiple years of experience with providing solutions to customers, both internal and external.

Joshua began his career with ERP Risk Advisors in January 2023. Prior to joining the ERP Risk Advisor’s Team, Joshua spent almost three years as a Solution Administrator for an Oracle position during a prior employer’s transition to Oracle Cloud from a legacy system. He assisted the ERPRA team at this company in a key capacity through multiple go-live waves for Oracle, including successful go-lives with multiple modules of Financials and Supply Chain Management.

Joshua works remotely and lives in Knoxville, Tennessee with his wife, Constance, who teaches elementary school in the area. Josh and his wife have two dogs, Bambi and Dakota, that they treat like their children. In his free time, Joshua likes tinkering with electronics, building custom keyboards and PCs, and video gaming until the wee hours of the morning.
