ERP Armor™: Roles Press Release
in Press Releases by Jeff HareGreeley, Colorado, April 9, 2020 – The heart of ERP Armor is the identification and management of risk in a customer’s ERP Solution. ERP Armor blends a proven ERP Risk Architecture with ERP Risk Content developed over 20 years. In 2019 we introduced ERP Armor as a set of rules, Segregation of Duties and Sensitive Access, for assessing risk in an ERP system. We now refer to them as ERP Armor: Rules and today we are introducing ERP Armor: Roles. The Rules and Roles are licensed separately.
ERP Armor: Roles
The Rules are used in the Assessment process to determine risk, and the Roles are used in the Design and Build process to remediate risks. We have developed Custom Standard Roles based on our experience of many role design projects over the past 20 years. We currently have 91 roles for EBS and 74 roles for ERP Cloud.
Core IT Roles included with ERP Armor: Rules
The Rules and Roles are licensed separately. We include a set of Core IT Roles with ERP Armor: Rules to help customers take the first step in moving to custom roles. See the ERP Armor Data Sheet at www.erpra.net for details.
An End to End Solution
ERP Armor is an end to end solution. The ERP Armor: Rules are used in the initial assessment process to determine risk, categorized into Critical, High, Medium, and Low risk rankings. For most customers, it will be necessary to move into custom roles, and ERP Armor: Roles are the solution to do so. Once the role design process is complete, we have an offering called ERP Armor as a Service, announced last week, to assess risk on an ongoing basis through Assessments and Patch Impact Analysis.
