25B Major Enhancements: Oracle Introduces Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for Supplier Portal

in Uncategorized by Eleanora Heitzman

We are excited to share a long-awaited major enhancement in 25B from Oracle: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is now being implemented for Supplier Portal accounts. A BIG WIN!!!

In the previous article, we highlighted that Oracle’s 25B major enhancement is introducing the most significant overhaul in application security for your ERP/HCM Cloud environment.  If your team has not yet listened to Roland Koene’s webinar, please refer back to the link in our previous article.  You will want to have everyone in your security and cyber security teams involved and watch the recording to understand these changes.  NOW is the time to take advantage of these enhancements to reduce your threat profile.

In September 2020 we logged this Idea with Oracle “Multi-Factor Authentication for local logins (not using SSO)”.  We had learned about several customers whose Supplier portal accounts were hacked by threat actors, leading to hundreds of thousands of dollars in losses.

We have been actively logging and tracking Ideas like this—more than any other firm—to help move the needle on Oracle’s security roadmap. We also maintain a comprehensive document of these Ideas, including those submitted by others, which you can access [here].

If you are interested in understanding these Ideas in more detail, set up a meeting with us by logging a ticket with us via email at support@erpra.net and we would be happy to explain further.
