Overview and other details
Abstract:
Reporting can be a huge strength to an organization, and Oracle’s vast amount of data allows for flexible and powerful reports to be created. But if anything can be a report, how does an organization ensure that not just anyone can access this sensitive information? Luckily, from the custom roles to folder level securities, Oracle has the tools needed to lock down and monitor your reporting environment. In this presentation, we will look at the reasons one should secure reporting and how an organization can make this happen. To wrap it up, we will discuss auditing BI to ensure your security is holding.
Objectives:
Define why BI security is important for an organization.
Discuss how to secure reporting, both from a role and folder level.
Explore how to audit BI reporting.
